FIRST CAPITOL PARK PAVILION

Located at the City’s new First Capitol Park located at 1300 N. 13^th Street, also known as FM 2852, on the way to the Varner Hogg State Park.  The pavilion is a great location to host you family or class reunion and any type of get together.  The pavilion has a stage, which is handicapped accessible, bathroom facilities, 12 tables (each 15’ in length).  Adjacent to the pavilion is a playground with swings, merry-go-round, slide and climbing rings.  If any one is interested in walking or jogging, the ½ mile trail passes by the pavilion and those avid fishermen can enjoy a well-stocked lake just a hop, skip and a jump away.  The park grounds also has softball fields, a heated pool and seven RV sites that are also available for rental by contacting the park office, 979-345-7153.

Rent is $75 for the pavilion for all day with a $50 deposit.  Rent is due at the time of reservation to confirm your date.   Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours before the event and receive a full refund.
